Friends? Or Enemies? [Derek]

Zoey was shaking and had a scared loom in her eyes when Derek told her everything would be alright.She craddled herself into his chest and wrapped her arms around her self to protect her body.She whimpered a little when she heard a loud thunder and bright lighting outside the lounge window.

Derek rubbed her back softly and hummed sweetly in her ear. He saw his jacket handing out of his bag and placed it over her to keep her warm and to block the sight of the lightining. He took his ipod out of it and gently, placed the earbuds in her ears and turned on some soft music for her to listen to to block out the thunder as he held her close.

Zoey saw Derek place his jacket over her head and she had a worried look in her eyes as she pulled it off her head.When she saw him get his ipod and place the head
phones in her ears she wondered what he was doing and then realized that he was trying to calm her down and she relaxed a little when she heard the classical music playing.

Derek smiled and rubbed her back in small soft circles, while leaning his forehead against hers and closing his eyes softly.

[zoey]

Zoey slowly started to calm down since she couldn't see the storm or hear it and she rested her head on Dereks chest siftly.She smiled a little because her nervs were gone now that he was doing circles on her back with his hand.

Derek smiled, seeing she was calming down and kissed her temple softly as he continued to rub her back in small soft circles. He was started to like this girl very much. They had so much in common and he wanted to get her more used to him, so she would talk to him without the notepad and stuttering. He was falling in love with her but didn't want to take it to far in case she would hit him or yell at him like that last girl did.

Zoey was starting to think that Derek was alot like her and was scared to get hurt but she wasn't just phyically abused she was mentally abused as well so it is hard for her to trust anyone.She would like to get to know him better but until she can trust him that won't be happening for a while because she doesn't know if he's just like her uncle or not.

Derek let out a soft yawn and laid his head in the crook of her neck, breathing slowly as he thought for a bit, before closing his eyes slightly. He was watching the lyrics of he song appear on the front of his ipod screen. He read them as he sang the song in his head. Knowing about Zoey being physically and mentally abused made him hurt a bit. He knew he wasn't goig to hurt her and wanted to prove that to her somehow.

Zoey stiffened a bit as she felt Derek lay his on the crook of her neck and she blushed.Watch out.You don't know what he'll do.The back of her mind told her.She looked down at him and watched him closely.She didn't really trust him to be so near her but she was getting to the point that she liked his touch so she was getting closer to trusting him.

Derek let another yawn slip his lips as they accidently touched her neck, giving her a small kiss on it. He blushed and snuggled his head into her shoulder softly, trying to keep his breathing calm as he felt a bit embaressed.

[zoey]

(Its a compicated emotion xD deal with it xD You can't expect her to automaticly just like him she has to trust him first.But she likes his touch because its calming lols you bum)

Zoey shivered a little as she felt Derek kiss her neck and she suddenly pushed him away.See.I told you we couldn't trust him.the back of her mind told her.She scooted off his lap as he hid his head in her shoulder and looked at him with a worried look in her eyes.She didn't want to be scared of him but she couldn't help it when he acted like this.

Derek flinched slightly feeling her push him away. He removed his head off her shoulder and scooted to the end of the couch and laid his head on his knees, looking away from her.

[zoey]

Zoey saw Derek move away from her to the end of the couch and look away from her.See you can't trust him can you.It's not your fault though you can't help it.The back of her mind told herself.She curled up on her side of the couch and frowned because she wanted to trust him to not do anything but she didn't really know him so she got scared.

Derek thought for a few minutes before looking back at her. 'Zoey.. im really sorry i did that.. i didnt mean too.. i was just yawning them i felt her neck with my lips..' He looked down feeling ashamed of himself before digging through his back pack and putting out a manila colored folder. It held all his information. from his date of birth to the reason why he was here. If you read it,, you would easily now him and be able to understand him and his ways. He laid it on her lap softly. 'There.. that holds everything on me.. i swiped it from the nurses office.. all my information is in there.. you can go ahead and read it.. i dont mind..'

Zoey pulled out the head phones in her ear as she saw that the storm died down and listened to Derek as he apologized.She frowned as she heard him and she was going to say something until he layed a vanilla folder in her lap.She looked up at him and then down at the folder and opened it.
